Customized Timers
If the pre-programmed values we have selected for typical speaking situations do not meet your specific needs, we can create a Customized ‘Great Timer’ just for you
You can replace any of the 35 given timing sequences* with your own custom times using the following guidelines:
[1] Lamp sequences are pre-defined for the Green Lamp to illuminate first, then the Yellow Lamp, finally the Red Lamp. (this means that you may not program the red Lamp to turn on before the Yellow or Green lamp. Lamps always illuminate in Green->Yellow->Red order)
[2] You may select times at a granularity of 15 second intervals… example: For any given Lamp (Red, Yellow or Green), you could select an on time of 1:00 (turns on at one minute), 1:15(on at one minute and 15 seconds), 1:30(on at one minute and 30 seconds), etc. There is a minimum of 15 seconds between lamp changes. See further examples below…
[3] If you select a ‘turn on time’ for the Yellow lamp, that time will be (by default) the turn-off time for the Green Lamp. Likewise, a ‘turn on time’ for the Red lamp, will be the turn-off time for the Yellow Lamp.
NOTE: There is an additional charge for this custom software to be programmed and incorporated into your Great Timer. Please email or call to create your own customized Great Timer
The Software Customizing charge for changing 1, 2, 3 or 4 sequences* would be an additional $25.00 Each custom sequence* requested above the first 4 is an additional $3.00 each
So, if you wanted a Great Timer with 7 customized sequences the cost would be and additional $34 dollars.
1st 4 sequences $25.00
additional 3 sequences $ 9.00
Total = $34.00
*What we mean by a custom sequence: See examples 1 & 2 above showing two new ‘sequences’ being created.
